Katia Gosselin lives and works in Montreal. Holder of a major Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in photography from Concordia University in Montreal, her work has been shown in numerous exhibitions (solo, group) nationally and internationally, and is part of private collections in Canada and Belgium. She is currently completing a master’s degree at Concordia University. Katia Gosselin has received grants from the Canada Council for the Arts, the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec, the Conseil des arts du Manitoba and merit-based scholarships from several foundations, including Desjardins. His series Espaces périphériques at the Centre VU (2017) and True Stories (geology of melancholy) in Skol (2018) were recently shown. She has published several books combining texts and photographs, including Entre Havre-de-paix et L’Avenir, Rawnessness and Stay in touch (a favourite of the BAnQ, written in collaboration with the writer Dominique Chantraine), all available at the BAnQ. Finally, his work can also be seen in the journals of IndeKeuken (Belgium), YYY3 (Finland), as well as in Ciel Variable (CV108, Quebec).
